On the occasion of World Environment Day 5th June 2010, SAVE THE PLANET mission2020 NEPAL organized a valley-wide inter schools/colleges level drawing competition. The competition was focused on global warming and environmental issues. More than 50 students from different schools/colleges participated.
This program was conducted in two segments. First drawing by the participants and secondly voting by the participants to select the best drawing. Similarly, judgment was also carried out in two ways. 75% of judgement was completed by the team of judges formed by veteran Cartoonist Mr. Rajesh K.C. Mr, Basu Kshitiz. And Mr. Raju k.C.
Similarly remaining 25% of the competition was judged by voting of students participated in the rally. In this program prizes and trophies were distributed by chief guest of the program MISS NEPAL 2005 SUGARIKA K.C. Miss Rakshya Uprety from Nagarjuna Academy won the first prize and Nanimaiya Silpakar from Gyanodaya Bal Batika and Aditi shrestha from Nagarjuna Academy became second and third respectively.
The program was conducted by popular anchor and journalist Mr. Rojin Shakya.
