On the occasion of World Water Day(22March) and World Meteorology Day(23 March) , SAVE THE PLANET NEPAL organized an interaction program in Jhapa district. The main objective of this program was to collect the information about the wetlands in jhapa district. More than 30 personalities representing different organization were participated in this interaction. Assistant CDO of jhapa was chief guest and representing from armed police, Nepal police, DDC, DOF, DEO, DOR, VDC's and Municipality and from different organizations representative were participated.
The title of the interaction was the slogan of world water day 2013, Give Water- Give Life. From this discussion we got the ways and ideas to move forward for the conservation of water resources in jhapa district. The conclusion of this program is roadmap for our future steps in this sector.
